We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our hybrid multi-cloud environment. This role requires deep technical expertise across cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and enterprise collaboration systems. The successful candidate will serve as a Tier 3 escalation point, lead infrastructure assessments, and ensure compliance through licensing and entitlement audits.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and manage infrastructure across OCI (oracle cloud infrastructure), GCP (Google Cloud Platforms and on-premises environments.
  • Implement and maintain hybrid cloud connectivity, security & governance framework.
  • Optimize workload placement & cost management across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Manage Azure services including compute, networking, storage & security components.
  • Administer Active Directory, Entra id and identity access management solutions.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 environment including, one drive, share point, exchange & Teams.
  • Design & maintain VMware, Vsphere/ESXi environment.
  • Manage Cisco Hyperflex clusters, including monitoring, performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Implement & support HCI solution (hyperconverged infrastructure)
  • Serve as Level 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and problems.
  • Develop & maintain comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
  • Conduct regular infrastructure assessments, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Perform regular licensing and entitlement audits across all platforms.
  • Ensure  compliance with software licensing agreements and cloud service subscriptions.
  • Maintain asset inventory and license reconciliation processes.

Must Have

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • 4+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with at least 3 years in senior roles.
  • Hybrid Cloud: Production experience with OCI and GCP, plus at least one other major cloud provider
  • Microsoft Stack: Azure IaaS/PaaS, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere (6.5+), Cisco HyperFlex or equivalent HCI platforms
  • Collaboration tools: SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business administration.
  • Scription/Automation: PowerShell, Python, or similar for infrastructure automation
  • Proven experience as L3 escalation engineer in 24/7 environments

Nice to have

  • Excellent documentation skills with experience creating technical standards and procedures
  • Valid licensing audit experience with tools like Snow License Manager, Flexera, or similar.
  • Infrastructure assessment and optimization experience.

  • Microsoft: AZ-104, AZ-305, SC-300
  • VMware: VCP-DCV
  • Cloud: Google Cloud Professional, OCI Professional
  • CISCO: HyperFlex Administration
